A full-circle rebuild for the 2012-13 YZ250F in one box: crank assembly, forged Wiseco piston, and the gaskets and seals to close it back up. The YZ250F bottom-end takes a beating from the rev-happy top-end above it, and a tired crank will take out a fresh piston fast. Doing both together is the honest way to do the job. The forged piston holds tighter tolerances and shrugs off detonation better than cast. Check the cam chain and tensioner while the cases are split. Cheap insurance at this stage.
