What it is

A complete engine kit for the 1991-97 KX80, covering both the 17/14 and 19/16 wheel variants. Crank, main bearings, seals, forged piston and gaskets in one box. An 80 revs harder than anything else in the paddock, so the bottom-end wears fast even when the piston looks fine. Vibration through the pegs is the usual giveaway. Wiseco's forged piston takes abuse a cast original won't, and fresh crank seals keep the mixture where it should be. Check the small-end bearing fit on the pin during assembly.
