The SY 250 is a proper trials weapon. Two-stroke punch, light chassis, sharp throttle response when the top-end is fresh. Watch the piston and rings — compression drops fast on a hard-worked motor. Pull the reeds every few rounds and check the petals for chips. Strip the carb, clean the jets, set the pilot. Low-rev pickup lives and dies on clean fuel.
