Your front suspension relies on these seals to keep the damping oil contained within the sliders. They provide a critical interface with the stanchions, keeping dirt out and oil in. Mud and debris are the primary causes of failure, grinding down the rubber lips until they weep. This kit replaces several OEM part numbers, including those for Honda and Kawasaki. During your rebuild, ensure the stanchions are polished and free of burrs. Use a seal bullet to protect the rubber during assembly and a driver to seat them square. Fresh seals restore the hydraulic performance of your forks.
