What it is

Dust wiper for 48mm forks, sized 48 x 58.4 x 5.8mm with a 13.3mm lip depth. The extra height on the wiper lip is the bit that matters here. Longer-travel adventure forks live in dirt, grit and road spray for hours at a stretch, and that deeper lip gives the seal more room to shed muck before it works its way down onto the oil seal. Fits KTM Adventure 640R and 990, plus the matching 48mm Husaberg, Husqvarna and Beta setups. Fit it in pairs, clean the stanchions properly first, and run it above a fresh oil seal.
