This friction material handles the heat generated during heavy clutch slipping in hard enduro or deep sand. These plates sit within the basket to manage power transfer from the crank to the gearbox. Standard plates often glaze and slip when pushed, but these maintain bite under high operating temperatures. If your lever feel is inconsistent or the bike slips under load, your stack height is likely below the service limit. Submerge each plate in fresh gear oil for ten minutes before fitting to the basket. Inspect the basket and inner hub for notching while the stack is removed.
