These components provide the vital clamping force required to prevent slip under load. Constant heat-cycling eventually causes them to sack out and lose their free length. This leads to a soft lever feel and power loss at high RPM. This kit replaces your tired set with six heavy-duty alternatives that offer a firmer bite and better heat resistance. When installing, always tighten the bolts in a diagonal star pattern. This ensures even pressure across the plate and prevents the cast pressure plate from cracking during assembly.
