This triple-layer foam filter is designed for extreme dust and sand conditions on the 2021-onwards CRF450. The additional filtration layer provides a final barrier against the finest silt that can bypass standard filters. It requires thorough oiling before use. The bonded construction ensures the layers do not separate during cleaning. This is a critical upgrade for beach racing or deep sand tracks where intake protection is paramount. Fitment is specific to the OEM cage. Monitor your service intervals closely when riding in abrasive environments to protect the cylinder bore.
