What it is

The FMF HEADER S/S M-BMB CRF450X, mid pipes. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

This stainless steel header is built for the CRF450X to improve low-end grunt. The expansion chamber increases the internal volume to help exhaust scavenging at low RPM. It mounts directly to the cylinder head and runs through to the mid-section. Stainless steel is used for its resistance to corrosion and impact damage on the trail. Replace your copper exhaust gasket during the install to ensure a proper seal. This header also helps quieten the bike by acting as a resonator. It fits with the standard silencer or compatible slip-ons.
