What it is

The FMF HEADER SS MBMB KTM 500'20, mid pipes. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

This stainless steel header is built for the KTM 500 to improve low-end grunt. The expansion chamber increases the internal volume to help exhaust scavenging at low RPM. It mounts directly to the cylinder head and runs through to the mid-section. Stainless steel is used for its resistance to corrosion and impact damage on the trail. Replace your copper exhaust gasket during the install to ensure a proper seal. This header also helps quieten the bike by acting as a resonator. It fits with the standard silencer or compatible slip-ons.
