This header pipe sits at the front of the exhaust circuit to improve engine breathing. The expansion chamber design increases the volume of the pipe, which results in a significant boost to mid-range power. It is constructed from stainless steel for long-term durability against mud and stones. This part is often replaced when the stock header becomes crushed or restricted by carbon build-up. It is compatible with the original silencer or aftermarket slip-on units. Ensure all mounting bolts are torqued to spec to prevent vibration during high-rev operation.
