The shorty design reduces the canister length to improve bottom-end snap and mid-range pull. It is the preferred choice for tight, technical MX tracks or supercross-style sections where immediate throttle response is vital. The aluminium construction sheds significant weight over the stock silencer. Because of the smaller internal volume, the packing will require more frequent replacement than a standard length unit. It fits directly to your expansion chamber using the existing hardware. Expect a sharper exhaust note and more aggressive power delivery on your bike.
