The steel centre provides a rigid mounting point while the outer ring moves slightly to maintain pad contact. Replace this when you feel pulsing through the lever or the disc thickness drops below the stamped limit. It fits directly to your hub with standard bolts. Use new thread lock on the fasteners during the install. This setup suits riders pushing hard in MX or fast enduro sections.
