Big-wheel 85 rear duty. The 34G angled stem clears the rim lock on a 16C/D rim without fighting the spokes, so you can run sensible pressures through whoops and braking bumps. Fit it with the valve square to the rim — pinch the stem on first inflation and you'll be walking back from the gate. Talc the inside of the tyre, check your rim tape covers every spoke nipple, and snug the rim lock before you torque the nut. Inspect after every meeting. Any chafe marks, any weeping at the stem base, bin it.
