Bolt this on the back of your big-bore enduro and you've got grip where the track turns to porridge. The Medium-Soft StarCross 6 carcass digs into loam, sand and wet grass, biting hard on corner exits and clawing up loose climbs. Watch the leading edges of the knobs. Once they round off or the carcass goes soft, swap it. Match rim width before you fit, run fresh rim tape and a heavy-duty tube. Pinch flats kill race days. Run it slightly soft on softer ground for more carcass flex, firmer when the track hardpacks through a moto.
