Mini bike workhorse. Standard-weight 10-inch tube with a TR-4 rubber valve, sized for the smallest dirt machines — CRF 50 F, DR-Z 50, MC 50, PW 50, SX 50. Fit it any time the tyre comes off, or when the rubber starts to look glazed, chafed or heat-marked. Dust the inside of the carcass with talc before you mount up; it stops the tube grabbing the tyre and tearing on the first hard launch. Line the valve stem dead square through the rim hole and snug the nut by hand. Check the rim tape, replace it if it's split, and run pressures the kid can actually ride on.
