This inner tube sits inside your tyre to maintain air pressure and carcass shape. It is a standard-weight tube suitable for general road and light trail use. Replace it whenever you change your tyre or if the rubber shows signs of chafing and heat stress. Use plenty of tyre powder during installation to prevent friction between the tube and the tyre carcass. Ensure the valve stem is aligned correctly through the rim hole to avoid shearing under heavy braking or acceleration. Check your rim tape for damage before fitting.
