This guard mounts over your front brake circuit to shield the rotor from impact damage. It is a vital addition for hard enduro or rocky trail riding where stumps and stones can easily bend a disc. The fitment is specific to your bike and integrates with the axle spacer or fork lug. It prevents a DNF caused by a warped rotor jamming the caliper.
