These stainless steel springs secure your exhaust pipe to the cylinder manifold or silencer join. Constant heat cycles and engine vibration eventually stretch or snap the original hardware. A loose pipe causes power loss through exhaust leaks and can damage the manifold flange. Measure your existing spring from hook-to-hook to ensure the correct tension. These feature a swivel hook design to simplify installation and reduce stress on the spring wire. Replace them whenever you notice excessive movement or surface corrosion to maintain a gas-tight seal.
