The stiff end of the 42.5mm range at 4.8 kg/mm, for heavier riders or fast MX where the front needs to stay high in the stroke. A firmer rate stops the fork bottoming on big jump faces and braking bumps that pack a soft spring down. Direct replacement for the factory internals across the listed Honda, Kawasaki and Suzuki forks. Run fresh fork oil so the valving can work against the higher spring tension. Check sag with your full riding kit on; a 4.8 only reads right against real weight.
