The softest of the range at 4.0 N/mm, this 43.5mm fork spring pair suits lighter riders, roughly 60 to 70kg in gear, who sit too high in the stroke on stock springs and lose front-end feel. Dropping the rate lets the fork use its travel and keeps the tyre loaded through chop. Fits Kawasaki KX, Suzuki RM-Z, Yamaha WR, Beta RR and Fantic enduro forks. Spring rate sets ride height; everything else is fine-tuning around it. Replace the pair together, set sag, then balance the shock. Oil height and cap torque per your manual.
