Stock fork springs go soft once you start pushing race pace, the front dives into braking bumps and packs through corner entry. Step up the rate and the chassis holds geometry where it should. Fit them with fresh fork oil and reset your sag from scratch — new rate, new baseline. Measure at the axle, not by feel. Spring rate is mechanical; it doesn't soften with age the way oil does, so once you're on the right coil you stay there.
