This guard provides essential protection for the clutch slave cylinder on the left side of the motor. It is designed to deflect the chain in the event of a failure. Without this, a snapped chain can easily ruin the hydraulic system and the engine casing. The aluminum construction offers superior impact resistance for enduro and MX use. It fits precisely over the OEM mounting points. It is a low-cost way to prevent a very expensive repair bill. Ensure the chain has proper clearance after fitting this guard.
