Run it in the back wheel when the trail gets sharp. The thicker wall takes pinch hits that fold a stock tube, so you can drop a few psi for grip without losing the bead on roots and rock. Sized for 17-inch rears on dual-sport and older trail iron. Before you fit it, run a finger round the rim band and file any proud spoke heads flat. Dust the inside of the tyre with talc, line the valve square, and seat it slow. Bin it the moment you spot chafe lines or heat glaze.
