What it is
The Moose Offroad LONG FORK SKINS 44MM-50MM NEOPRENE BLACK, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.
Longer cover area than the standard skins, so more of the inner tube stays shielded when the forks are deep in the stroke. Slips over 44 to 50mm tubes and stays put under hard riding. The extra length earns its keep on enduro and extreme days, when you're bottoming through ruts and the splash line creeps higher up the leg. Neoprene traps mud, grit and stone strikes before they reach the seals, which is where most fork rebuilds start. Pull them off after a wet lap, rinse, and refit. Cheap insurance for a part of the bike that hates abrasive muck.
