Everything that lives inside the master cylinder bore: piston, cup seals and spring. The rubber perishes with age and tears when grit works past the dust boot, and the symptoms are a lever that goes spongy or fluid weeping at the plunger. This Moose kit rebuilds the original casting rather than replacing it, so it suits older trail and dual-sport machines like the XR, KLR and DR-Z where a complete assembly is hard to source. Hone or clean the bore before you start, smear the new seals in fresh fluid, and bleed properly. Covers front lever and rear pedal units.
