This unit is a critical internal component of your reservoir. It separates the nitrogen charge from the suspension oil. This prevents aeration during hard use. Constant heat cycles and pressure eventually cause the rubber to stiffen or crack. A failed part leads to inconsistent damping and performance fade. This item replaces OEM reference 43078-1094 and 52451-KZ4-003. Clean the reservoir thoroughly before fitting the new part. Always bleed the air from the system. Recharge with nitrogen to the correct pressure after assembly.
