This hybrid sprocket features a high-carbon steel outer ring joined to a lightweight aluminium core. It sits on the rear hub and provides the longevity of steel with reduced rotating mass. Mud and grit accelerate wear on the teeth, leading to hooking that can damage your chain. Replace this part as part of a complete drivetrain refresh. The 48-tooth count is suited for open tracks and higher speed sections. Use a torque wrench on the mounting bolts to meet OEM specifications and prevent loosening during high-vibration race conditions on your bike.
