A 50-tooth setup provides a reliable balance of torque and speed for general off-road use. Replace this part if the teeth become pointed or if you are fitting a new chain to prevent premature wear. Ensure the mounting bolts are torqued to the correct specification and use thread lock to prevent them from backing out under vibration.
