What it is

The Moose Offroad REBUILD KIT FUEL TAP KAW, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

Fuel tap rebuild kit for the Kawasaki KX 250 F and Suzuki RM-Z 250. The tap controls flow off the base of the tank, and its rubber seals harden against the ethanol in modern pump fuel. Left to it, the tap weeps or fails to shut off when the bike stands. The kit supplies the correct O-rings, gaskets and fixings to refresh the original assembly rather than bin it. Drain the tank, pull the old unit and clean the mounting face flat before you fit the new seals. A quick job that ends a slow drip.
