What it is

The Moose Offroad REBUILD KIT FUEL TAP SUZ, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

A petcock rebuild kit for the Suzuki RM 125 and RM 250 fuel tap. The tap sits at the base of the tank and meters fuel down to the carb. Ethanol in pump fuel hardens the internal seals, so the tap weeps or won't shut off cleanly. This kit carries the O-rings, gaskets and screws to bring it back. Drain the tank fully and clean the mounting face before you fit the new seals. Worth doing on any RM that's been stood over winter or shows fuel staining round the tap.
