Standard springs are often mismatched to the rider once fully kitted with gear and fuel. Swapping the spring ensures the rear end stays in the correct part of the stroke for better traction. Clean the shock body thoroughly before adjusting the preload rings to prevent thread galling. This unit is a direct fit for WP suspension systems.
