Front wheel spacers ride between the fork legs and the hub, holding the wheel centred and giving the seal lips a clean surface to run against. Cross-references OEM 77709012000 — fits the KTM, Husqvarna and GasGas chassis sharing that front hub across 89 models. Factory spacers groove over time as grit works past the seal; once the surface pits, water tracks straight into the bearing. Pull yours every tyre change and feel the running face. If you can catch a fingernail on it, replace it. Slides onto the axle on assembly. Pack the seal lip with waterproof grease before the wheel goes back on.
