What it is

Neoprene sleeve that slides over the upper fork tube and sits above the dust seal. Job is simple: stop stones, roost and mud battering the chrome, and keep grit out of the seal lip on every stroke. Fork seals fail when sharp debris gets dragged past the wiper, so a skin like this buys you genuinely longer seal life between rebuilds. Fits 44mm to 50mm tubes, which covers most adult 250 and 450 MX and enduro forks. Fit it during a fork rebuild while the leg's off the bike. Check it after muddy rides and rinse before the grit dries on.
