What it is

Stem bearings take a hammering on a race bike. Hard braking into corners, square-edge hits, hour after hour of moto pounding, the head stock gets battered every lap. Drop a fresh set in before the head stock starts knocking and your front end goes light on entry. Pack the races and lower with quality grease on install, torque the stem nut to spec, then check it again after the first heat cycle. Job done in an evening between rounds, and you go back out with steering that tracks where you point it.
