Your DR650 or DR-Z spends half its life sat at 70 on the motorway and the other half wading through bogs on a green lane. That mileage kills steering head bearings faster than any pure trail bike. Grease washes out at the first river crossing, then the loaded weight from your luggage pounds the races flat on the slog home. You'll feel it as a dead spot off-centre when you're picking a line through ruts, or a clunk under braking on tarmac. Drop this kit in, pack the races properly with marine grease, torque the stem nut to spec and your front end goes back to steering where you point it.
