Sized for the small-wheel 85 front, this Moose tube fits a 17-inch rim running an 80/90 or 70/100 tyre. The TR-4 straight valve clears most fork guards and gives you a clean line on the pump. Heat builds fast on hard-pack starts, so swap the tube any time you crack a tyre off the bead — once the rubber thins at the rim-lock contact patch, it's done. Soap the bead, pinch the tube up off the rim with your levers, and snug the valve nut before you air up. Run it at the pressure your track demands.
