This replacement throttle sleeve is a direct cross-reference for OEM part 8000 93748. It provides the low-friction surface needed for smooth throttle operation inside the housing. Sleeves often get damaged in crashes or wear down from grit trapped under the grip. A notched or cracked sleeve will cause the throttle to hang, which is a major risk on track. Slide this onto a clean handlebar and ensure the cable bobs are seated correctly. Test the return spring tension across the full range of steering movement before starting your bike.
