What it is

The POLISPORT AIRBOX CVR GASGAS 21- BK, side panels. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

Black version of the 2021-on GasGas airbox cover, fitting the EC and EX enduro models and the MC 125, 250F, 450F and 250/300 motocross bikes. Black is the one that stays looking tidy when the bike lives in UK mud. It seals the airbox to the side panel, keeping water and grit off the filter and away from the inlet. Moulded to OEM lines so it drops onto the original tabs with no trimming. Those tabs are the weak point once they age or take a knock, and a broken seal undoes the filter's work. Fit a fresh one and forget about it.
