What it is

The POLISPORT CHAIN SLIDER BLACK, chain guides & sliders. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

This slider wraps around the front of your swingarm to prevent the drive chain from eating into the aluminium. It sits directly behind the countershaft sprocket where chain tension is highest. Mud and grit accelerate wear on the plastic surface. If you let this wear through, you risk permanent structural damage to the swingarm. It uses existing mounting points for a quick swap during a top-end rebuild or chain service. Monitor the wear indicators regularly to ensure the chassis remains protected.
