What it is

The POLISPORT REAR SHOCK FLAP BLACK, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

Covers the current KTM and Husqvarna enduro and cross spread, including the TPI two-strokes, the EXC-F four-strokes up to 500 and the FX models. The flap closes off the area behind the airbox so roost and standing water never reach the shock shaft or the linkage bearings. Cracked or missing, and you are paying for seals and a service far sooner than you should. Made to OEM dimensions for a clean fit on the standard mounts, with enough flex to clear the swingarm through full stroke. A cheap part that protects an expensive one.
