What it is

Grade 5 titanium saves around 60% of the weight of steel pinch bolts — not a huge number in isolation, but it's unsprung weight at the axle, where it counts. The natural finish is uncoated Ti, so there's no anodising to chip or flake in the fork lug. Standard steel pinch bolts corrode into the lug threads after a winter of mud and water; they round off when you try to undo them. These thread in cleanly, come out cleanly. Apply anti-seize to the threads before fitting — titanium galls without it and you'll get false torque readings. Torque to spec, not feel. Direct swap for OEM on KTM EXC 450, EXC-F 500, SX-F 450 and Husqvarna FE 350/450.
