What it is
The PROX CONNECTING ROD KIT, bottom end. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.
This kit replaces the central component of your bottom-end assembly. It transfers power from the piston to the crank. Wear usually shows as play in the big-end bearing or scoring on the crank pin. The kit includes the rod, big-end bearing, crank pin, and thrust washers. It is a direct alternative to the factory part for your rebuild. Installation involves splitting the crank and pressing the new pin. Accuracy is vital. Use a truing stand to ensure the crank webs are aligned within factory tolerances to prevent vibration.
