What it is
The PROX STEERING BEARING KIT KTM HVA, suspension. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.
Tapered roller bearings for the steering head on the Austrian-chassis lineage — KTM SX, EXC and EXC-F, Husqvarna TC/TE/FC/FE, Husaberg, plus Beta RR and Gas Gas EC/EX/MC sharing the same head-tube architecture. Includes top and bottom races and the dust seals that sit above them. Replace when the bars notch through centre or the front feels vague off a hard landing. Press the old races out cleanly, pack the new rollers with marine-grade waterproof grease, and torque the stem nut to factory spec to avoid loading the headrace. Covers a long arc of model years on the same chassis platform.
