What it is

The SCAR LAUNCH CONTROL BLACK, suspension. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

A holeshot device for the Austrian and Spanish two-stroke and four-stroke crowd. Compresses the fork into the stroke and latches it there, keeping the front wheel planted when you dump the clutch at the gate. The hinged clamp wraps the fork leg without pulling the lower from the triple clamps, so you can fit it the morning of a race. You will need to drill the fork guard for the latch plate; mark twice, drill once. Trigger releases as soon as the forks compress under braking into turn one. Rinse the pin after every moto and run a drop of light oil to keep grit out of the spring.
