This element features a laminated layer of fire-resistant foam. It allows you to remove the restrictive OEM metal backfire screen on four-stroke bikes. Removing the screen improves airflow to the top-end for better throttle response. The dual-stage design still provides maximum filtration against dust and mud. It sits on your original filter cage. Always ensure the foam is fully oiled and seated correctly against the airbox rim to prevent leaks. This is a performance upgrade for competitive MX and enduro use.
