This slider wraps around the front of the swingarm to protect the pivot area. It prevents the drive chain from grinding into the metal during suspension travel. Small-bore bikes like the 65SX see high chain speeds that wear through plastic quickly. Regularly check the underside for thinning. This is a direct replacement for the stock unit. Clean the pivot area thoroughly before bolting the new slider into place. Proper fitment prevents unwanted noise and reduces friction in your drive system.
