This slider mounts over the front of the swingarm near the pivot point. It protects the aluminium from the constant abrasive action of the drive chain. Without a functional slider, the chain will quickly saw into the swingarm structure. Monitor the wear depth regularly, especially if you run a smaller front sprocket. This part is a direct replacement for the factory component. Ensure the swingarm surface is clean and free of old grease before fitting. It is a critical service item for any chassis rebuild to maintain drive train integrity.
