This slider is the primary defence for your RMZ450 swingarm against chain wear. It sits at the front of the swingarm, wrapping around the pivot point. High-torque loads on the RMZ450 cause the chain to press hard against this plastic guard. Once the wear indicators are reached, replace it immediately to prevent structural damage to the swingarm. It is designed to match the specific geometry of the Suzuki chassis. Clean the pivot area thoroughly before bolting the new slider in place. This part is essential for any serious race bike maintenance schedule.
