What it is

The UFO EXTENTION UFO PLATE NUMBER KX, side panels. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

A direct-fit UFO extension that builds onto the KX front number plate to guard the upper forks. It catches roost and stone chips that would otherwise blast the stanchions and work their way into the seals. Plate extensions earn their keep in close racing and rough enduro, where front-end debris is constant. They also wear out there, cracking at the fixings after enough hits. This one mates to the factory plate mounts on the KX 250 and KX 450 with no modification. Run it as a replacement for a snapped unit or as added cover over freshly serviced forks.
